Scope of activities of the FGBI ARRIAH Testing Centre includes independent testing of food products, food raw materials and animal feed for their quality and safety that are indicative of their compliance with standards and requirements of current regulatory documents of the Russian Federation.
Testing Centre (TC of the FGBI ARRIAH) was established and accredited by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology on the basis of the Toxicological Examination Department of the FGBI ARRIAH on August 26, 2005 and currently is a structural unit of the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” (FGBI ARRIAH).
TESTING LABORATORY (CENTRE) ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE
In 2015, the Testing Centre of the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” was re-accredited by the Federal Accreditation Service (RosAccreditation) for its compliance with GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2009 “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”. The Testing Centre has worked in accordance with GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories” since 2020.
ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2009
In 2015, the Testing Centre of the FGBI ARRIAH was granted an international accreditation by the Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS) for microbiological and physical-chemical tests of food products, food raw materials, grains, feed, natural and drinking water to be performed within its scope of accreditation. In August 2020, the Testing Centre of the FGBI ARRIAH successfully passed the re-accreditation and the accreditation certificate validity was extended up to October 2025.
The Testing Centre has all necessary testing facilities and equipment including unique testing equipment, measurement devices, reference samples and reagents required for tests to be performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and ensuring staff and environmental safety.
The Testing Centre of the FGBI ARRIAH carries out tests of the following products (within its scope of accreditation):

Declaration of the independence, impartiality and confidentiality of the FGBI ARRIAH Testing Centre has been developed to guarantee of the FGBI ARRIAH Testing Center independence from commercial, financial, administrative or other pressure, to prevent conflicts of interest and refuse to carry out activities compromising the Testing Center impartiality.
Confidentiality
The FGBI ARRIAH Testing Center bears responsibility for managing of all information received or generated during its laboratory activities.
The Testing Center notifies the Customer in advance of the information to be made public (freely accessible), except for the information that becomes publicly available by the Customer’s decision or by agreement between the Testing Center and the Customer (for example, in order to respond to complaints). All other information is considered commercially sensitive and is treated as confidential.
When the Testing Center must disclose confidential information in accordance with the law or contractual agreements, it shall notify the Customer or his/her representative of the information to be disclosed, if this is not prohibited by law.
The information provided by the Customer can be disclosed only in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation at the request of the court, law enforcement agencies, as well as in other cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
