The representatives of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) paid a working visit to the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” on December 6 – 8, 2016. The aim of the visit was the inspection of production facilities and evaluation of their compliance with GMP requirements due to export of veterinary products to the Republic of Bulgaria.

The audit started with visiting of technological sector, water preparation, cell culture and vaccine filling areas. The guests familiarized themselves with the peculiarities of scientific and practical activities carried out by other units.

In the course of the negotiations the FGBI “ARRIAH” informed the guests about the Centre activities and presented documents confirming GMP-based vaccine production. It was agreed to cooperate in the sphere of animal disease prevention as well as in providing scientific support for “ARRIAH” products in Bulgaria.
