On May 15, 2019 Baku saw the opening of the 13th Azerbaijan International Exhibition Caspian Agro 2019 – the largest regional platform for agricultural and food production. The event was held with active support and participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation, Agency for Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of Azerbaijan and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

This year the exhibition was attended by 403 companies from 31 countries, including representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Sri-Lanka, Turkey, Ukraine, USA and Israel. The specialists of the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor took active part in the event. The FGBI “ARRIAH” presented its achievements and developments in the veterinary field. Notably, special attention was paid to the unique nature and quality of the services on offer which include diagnostics and developing of measures aimed at control of highly dangerous animal and avian diseases, production of highly efficient vaccines and their scientific support.

Within the framework of the exhibition it was planned to hold bilateral business meetings where FGBI “ARRIAH” specialists were able to discuss cooperation tracks, establish new contacts and find partners and clients among the exhibition visitors as well as among their participating colleagues.
