The 26th Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Golden Autumn-2024" is taking place at the Training and Exhibition Complex "Timiryazev Centre" (Moscow) from 9 to 12 October. The key event in the Russian agro-industrial complex is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and displays the main achievements of the agroindustry in the field of plant and livestock production, technical and scientific development.
The Federal Centre for Animal Health traditionally takes part in the exhibition. Its activities are presented at the exhibition stand set up together with the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and other Rosselkhoznadzor-subordinate institutions. The FGBI "ARRIAH" staff members deliver presentations on issues relevant and important for the agro-industrial complex, inform visitors about new developments of the Federal Centre for Animal Health, its scientific achievements and special aspects of various studies, participate in the round tables held within the framework of the event.
On 9 October, the first day of the exhibition, the Federal Centre for Animal Health was granted the following awards of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for its research activities:
Gold Medal for the development and production of Carnican-5R vaccine against canine distemper, canine parvovirus and coronavirus enteritis, canine adenovirus infection and dog rabies and for the development and production of Carnifel PCH vaccine against feline panleukopenia, feline calicivirus infection and feline viral rhinotracheitis;
Gold Medal for the development and production of BoviRes-Past combined inactivated emulsion vaccine against bovine parainfluenza-3, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, bovine viral diarrhea and bovine pasteurellosis and for the development and production of MastitisVac-EVA inactivated emulsion vaccine against clinical and subclinical mastitis in cows;
Gold Medal for the development and production of ARRIAH-Aujeszky BK dry culture viral vaccine against porcine and ovine Aujeszky’s disease based on labeled BK strain and for the development and production of ARRIAH-CSF live dry culture vaccine against classical swine fever;
Gold Medal for the development and production of ARRIAH-AviNew Multi inactivated emulsion vaccine against Newcastle disease (G7 and LaSota) and for the development and production of ARRIAH-AviNewFlu Multi combined inactivated emulsion vaccine against Н9N2 avian influenza (Y280 and G1);
Gold Medal for the development and introduction of ASF PCR-NESTED test system for detection of African swine fever virus genome using nested polymerase chain reaction with electrophoretic detection;
Gold Medal for the development and introduction of ECTHYMA REAL-TIME PCR test system for detection of DNA of the causative agent of contagious pustular dermatitis (ecthyma) using real-time polymerase chain reaction;
Gold Medal for the development and introduction of Avian influenza H9 real-time RT-PCR test system for detection of RNA of H9 avian influenza virus using real-time polymerase chain reaction;
Silver Medal for the development of methodical guidelines for detection of rabies virus nucleoprotein using direct sandwich solid-phase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and for detection of antibodies to rabies virus using competitive solid-phase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay;
Bronze Medal for the development of methodical guidelines for detection of classical swine fever virus genome using multiplex real-time RT-PCR with internal control.
The awards received by the FGBI "ARRIAH" testify to the high recognition of the scientific achievements of the Federal Centre for Animal Health and the professionalism of its staff members.
