About Training Centre
For more than 15 years, the Training Centre of the FGBI ARRIAH has been occupying a niche among the veterinary institutions of the Russian Federation providing additional professional education in laboratory diagnosis in the veterinary field.
The educational activities have been licensed (license No. L035-00115-77/00097027 of 20 August 2011) in accordance with Federal Law No. 99-FZ of 04 May 2011 on licensing of certain activities, taking into account the specific provisions laid down in Article 91 of Federal Law No. 273-FZ of 29 December 2012 on education in the Russian Federation, Regulation on licensing of educational activities approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 966 of 28 October 2013.
The main focus of the Training Centre activities is advanced training of specialists based on international legislation and Customs Union requirements in the following areas:
- diagnosis of contagious and non-contagious diseases of animals, fish and other aquatic animals;
- animal and plant product quality and safety control;
- organization and carrying out of laboratory tests;
- organization of laboratory activities in the veterinary field, etc.
One of the most in-demand types of training is additional professional education.
The Training Centre offers quality training in the form of individual and group practical training, advanced training courses, workshops, round table learning, practical sessions, thus helping to confidently keep pace with modern demands.
Advanced training courses are delivered in the short-duration (at least 16 hours) format (Order No. 499 of 1 July 2013 on approval of the procedure for the organization and carrying out of educational activities based on additional professional programmes) that allows for acquisition of new knowledge and skills in the area of interest.
Individual practical training and group practical training as forms of additional professional education provide opportunities for development and reinforcement in practice of the professional knowledge, faculties and skills acquired through theoretical training, for getting insight into best practices, as well as for acquisition of professional and managerial skills required to fulfil the responsibilities of the current position or a higher level post.
A wide range of options as regards areas and time frames for training makes it possible to choose the training programme that best fits one’s needs.
The trainers are highly qualified professionals. The training programmes are regularly updated based on the analysis of trends in the laboratory field. The seminars, courses and practical training involve relevant methods and good laboratory practices.
The FGBI ARRIAH Training Centre pays considerable attention to the quality of training at all stages of the educational process, starting from the admission of trainees till the end of training.
Upon training completion, training certificates (advanced training certificates) are issued for the trainees in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 273-FZ of 29 December 2012 on education in the Russian Federation.

Training facilities
The total area of the Training and Laboratory Facility is 2,649 square metres, including two study rooms for lectures and practical sessions, the 2nd floor with an area of 82.3 square metres. Besides, practical sessions on specific topics are held in study rooms No.1, 2 (2nd floor) with an area of 258.8 square metres, as well as (rooms No. 11-18; 21-25; the 1st floor rooms No. 1-11; 13-25; 29-35 and 38-45 with an area of 637 square metres. (2nd floor) with an area of 277 square metres rooms No. 1-5; 28-34.<br>
