On March 4-5, 2015, Alexey Konstantinov, Roman Yashin and Yelena Yaseneva, experts of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health”, completed advanced training in Preparatory Work in Testing Centres (TC) for Compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). The training was organized in the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution on Further Vocational Training “Academy for Standardization, Metrology and Certification”.

The educational program dealt with training in non-clinical biological and ecological safety testing of objects contained in drugs, veterinary preparations, food and feed additives as well as in industrial chemicals.

During the training issues of Good Laboratory Practice implementation in TC were examined. Quality Control Program aimed at concordance and reliability of results of pre-clinical, laboratory and experimental tests was analyzed. GLP requirements for TC personnel, rooms, equipment as well as to biological test-systems and personnel qualification in the area of quality control were studied. Responsibilities of the TC management were examined in detail as well as contribution of Quality Control Department in the development of standard operating procedures, test inspections and report audits. The trainees also discussed the procedure of inspection checks for TC compliance with GLP requirements.

At the end of the training the FGBI “ARRIAH” experts were granted certificates of advanced training completion.
