Annual meeting of heads of the OIE/FAO Referent Laboratories for FMD took place in Instituto Zooprofilattico (Brescia, Italy) on November 26-27, 2014. Subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor FGBI “ARRIAH” was presented by Alexei Mischenko, Deputy Head for Research and Monitoring and Alexei Scherbakov, Head of the Reference Laboratory for Highly dangerous Diseases.

FGBI “ARRIAH” specialists presented a report on work of the Reference Laboratory for FMD in 2014. They also took part in development of recommendations for standardization of FMD diagnostics methods and vaccine strains for 2015.

Report for 2014 and recommendations to be adopted at the OIE Session in 2015 are published on the web-site of the Reference Laboratory.
