On April, 15, 2016 the representatives of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China visited the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” with the aim of studying epizootic situation on infectious poultry diseases and development of Russian export to international markets.

Specialists of the FGBI “ARRIAH” informed the guests about the activities and structure of the Centre, shared scientific experience and expertise in the field of disease freedom maintenance. The parties considered the system of veterinary control of animal products. During the discussion the Chinese delegation studied in detail the epizootic situation on highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in the Russian Federation, and obtained constructive answers to all the questions.

At the end of the inspection visit the Chinese delegation marked the efficiency of negotiations and the existing potential for further bilateral cooperation in the field of veterinary health.
