Two samples of animal’s brains were tested for rabies in the Rosselhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “ARRIAH” “Federal Centre for Animal Health” in January 2016. The samples had been received from the Vladimir Oblast in the framework of the national program.
The material was tested by FAT method in the FGBI “ARRIAH”. As the result of tests two new cases of animal rabies were detected in the Vladimir Oblast. Rabies was detected in foxes from the Sobinsky Raion.
Five cases of animal rabies were registered in the Vladimir Oblast in January, 2016: 4 cases in the Sobinsky Raion and 1 – in Yuriev-Polsky.
