From September 29 to October 2, 2026, a delegation of the FGBI "ARRIAH" visited India on a working trip, which was a continuation of the meeting with representatives of the Indian partner company held at the institute in July of this year. As part of the visit, the specialists conducted an audit of SPF egg production and discussed the further development of cooperation in the production of veterinary immunobiological products.
The FGBI "ARRIAH" delegation included Natalya Moroz, Head of the Laboratory for Avian Disease Prevention, and Anzhela Shishkova, Head of the Research and Production Service.
One of the key areas of the working trip was the assessment of the production site of the company, a supplier of SPF eggs used in the technological process of vaccine production.
SPF eggs (specific-pathogen-free chicken hatching eggs) are an important raw material for obtaining antigens used in the production of live vaccines against viral poultry diseases. The quality of such raw materials directly depends on compliance with strict biosafety requirements and the organization of production processes.
During the audit, the FGBI "ARRIAH" representatives became acquainted with the specifics of the SPF farm's operation, assessed compliance with biosafety requirements, and reviewed approaches to product quality control. Regular interaction with suppliers and conducting working inspections make it possible to ensure the stability of supplies of the necessary raw materials and maintain a high level of production processes.
In addition to visiting the SPF farm, the FGBI “ARRIAH” representatives held meetings with Indian colleagues dedicated to the exchange of experience in veterinary vaccine production, improvement of technological approaches, and further development of scientific and technical cooperation.
The development of partnership relations with foreign colleagues is an important area of activity for the FGBI "ARRIAH." Such interaction contributes to strengthening the institute's production capabilities, improving the technologies for manufacturing veterinary products, and ensuring their high quality.
