On August 7, 2026, the FGBI “ARRIAH” received notification that its scientific journal “Veterinary Science Today” has been accepted for inclusion in the Scopus international database. The decision was made by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board on July 21.

The selection process for Scopus involves a multi‑stage expert review. The evaluation takes into account the quality of the scientific content, compliance with international publishing and ethical standards, the effectiveness of the peer‑review system, publication regularity, citation levels, and the accessibility of the materials to the scientific community.

Inclusion in Scopus is a significant milestone for the journal and its authors. Indexing in one of the world’s leading abstract and citation databases confirms the high standard of the scientific publication, enhances its international visibility, and expands opportunities for promoting Russian research findings within the global scientific community.

The journal “Veterinary Science Today” has been published by the FGBI “ARRIAH” since 2012. The Editor‑in‑Chief is Konstantin Gruzdev, Doctor of Science (Biology) and Chief Researcher at the FGBI “ARRIAH”. Since 2015, all materials have been freely available in both Russian and English.

The journal’s mission is to cover current trends in Russian and global veterinary science, publish the results of fundamental and applied research, and facilitate the implementation of modern scientific advances in veterinary practice.

The journal is included in the list of peer‑reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) in the scientific specialties Virology and Infectious Diseases and Animal Immunology.
