On September 14–15, a delegation of the Rosselkhoznadzor led by Roman Miloradov, Deputy Head of the Service, took part in the Second Forum of Regions of Russia and Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar. The FGBI "ARRIAH" was represented at the event by Ruslan Kobernik, Deputy Director of the Centre.

The forum aimed to support trade, economic, scientific, and technical ties between Russia and Mongolia, as well as joint projects and cooperation within the EAEU. This year, the event brought together more than 220 participants from 14 regions of the two countries.

On the sidelines of the forum, the first meeting of the Joint Committee for the Implementation of the Provisional Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Mongolia was held, where participants discussed the development of cooperation in veterinary and sanitary control, technical and customs regulation, as well as increasing trade turnover and expanding mutual access for livestock products.

In addition, representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor took part in the plenary session and other events that addressed veterinary surveillance issues.

One focus of ARRIAH's participation was developing cooperation with Mongolia in veterinary medicine, the production of immunobiological products, and ensuring biological safety. ARRIAH specialists visited the production site of a Mongolian biotech plant specializing in the manufacture of veterinary biological products, vaccines, and diagnostic products for livestock. They assessed the technical and production capabilities of the establishment, including its potential to participate in projects aimed at ensuring freedom from animal diseases.
