Two samples of pathological materials from wild boars, coming from the Mikhaylovsky Raion, the Primorye Krai, were tested by the Reference Laboratory for Highly Dangerous Diseases within the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor on March 22-23, 2016.
The phylogenetic analysis showed that the detected virus belonged to subtype 2.1 and was genetically closely related to the isolates which caused CSF outbreaks in domestic pigs in Artyom and Alekseyevka settlements, the Primorye Krai, in 2015.
