On August 9, 2018 Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maxim Uvaydov held a meeting on the interaction of institutions subordinate to the Ministry and the Rosselkhoznadzor to ensure epizootic well-being in the territory of the Russian Federation which took place in the FGBI “Federal Center for Animal Health” with the participation of the Rosselkhoznadzor representatives. At the meeting it was emphasized that one of the main tasks faced by the agribusiness management bodies is to increase the volume of exports of Russian agricultural products.

During the visit Maxim Uvaydov also got familiarized with the activities of FGBI "ARRIAH". The delegation visited a number of facilities in the FGBI "ARRIAH", including a new vivarium complex and a laboratory and production building. Particular attention was paid to the results of a large-scale renovation of the laboratory for African swine fever (ASF).

Maxim Uvaydov highly assessed the results of the large-scale modernization of the Center’s production and laboratory facilities.
