In a letter dated February 13, 2018 Deputy Director General of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Jean-Philippe Dop expressed his appreciation to Director of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “ARRIAH” Dmitry Lozovoy for his presence and active participation in the meeting between the representatives of the authorized veterinary bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the representatives of the OIE Member-Countries which had been organized by the OIE Regional Representation in Moscow on January 24, 2018.

The meeting was a landmark event and was timed to coincide with the official opening of the OIE Regional Representation office in Moscow. In the course of the meeting issues related to ensuring capacity and sustainability of the EAEU veterinary services, guaranteeing animal disease freedom in the customs territory of the EAEU, significance of the OIE standards and principles and their implementation in the field of veterinary education were addressed.
