On May 8, 2018 a meeting of the Russian party of the Russian-Ecuadorian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held under the chairmanship of Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert in Moscow. The event was attended by representatives of competent authorities, public and private companies. On behalf of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI "Federal Center for Animal Health" Director Dmitry Lozovoy participated in the meeting.

At the meeting the participants noted the dynamic development of political relations between Russia and Ecuador, as well as stability of turnover. They also emphasized problematic issues and indicated points of potential growth. Thus, the Russian side expressed certain wishes regarding the supply of veterinary drugs to Ecuador.

All proposals, wishes and problematic aspects of the Russian party will be considered and submitted for consideration in the course of further meetings of working groups of the Intergovernmental Russian-Ecuadorian Commission.
