According to the information of the World Organisation for Animal Health 35 outbreaks of animal highly dangerous diseases were registered worldwide from 4 till 10 April 2015.
Outbreaks of African swine fever were reported from Lithuania (1) and Poland (5). Outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza were diagnosed in Palestine (1), China (1), Vietnam (1), Mexico (2), Canada (1) and USA (10).
One outbreak of sheep and goat pox was reported by veterinary services of Kazakhstan. Algeria confirmed 2 outbreaks of foot and mouth disease. Four outbreaks of Newcastle disease were detected in Israel. One outbreak of low pathogenic avian influenza was registered in the Netherlands.
Five outbreaks of equine influenza were registered for the first time in Croatia.
During the last week no outbreaks of animal highly dangerous diseases occurred in Russia.
