The FSVPS subordinate FGBI “ARRIAH” has been granted the RF Patent No 2675535 for invention of low virulent ASFV “ASF/ARRIAH/CV-1” strain for virologic, diagnostic, molecular and genetic, and monitoring tests.
The invention belongs to the field of veterinary biology and refers to the new ASFV strain “ASF/ARRIAH/CV-1”. The characterized strain was prepared by adaptation by serial passaging in the African green monkey kidney cell culture (CV-1).
The virus strain can be used for preparation of antigen-containing preparations and serotype-specific serum for diagnostic tests.
