Post-graduate center of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” started entrance examinations which will last until August 20, 2014.

This year 5 applications were submitted for the full-time post graduate study. In view of new RF Education Law enforcement, since this year post-graduate studies have become the third level of higher education. Magisters and Specialists are allowed for entrance to the post-graduate center.

The applicants should pass three examinations: specialist discipline, philosophy and foreign language. The first exams took place on August 6. Individual research achievements were taken into account during this exam, i.e. number of publications, grants, patents, etc.

In the FGBI “ARRIAH” post-graduate courses include “Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics” (qualification in veterinary microbiology, virology, epizootology, mycology and mycotoxicology, and immunology) and Biological Sciences (qualification in virology). Post-graduates will be granted a Higher education diploma and qualified as Researchers.

Applicants will be admitted at the post-graduate courses based on the opinion of FGBI “ARRIAH” Admission Committee and approved by the administrative order. Following the enrollment the post-graduate students will be assigned to research tutors according the area they specialize in (list of research tutor specialization areas was approved by the RF Ministry of Education and Science on February 25, 2009).
