From 7 to 8 June 2018 the economic forum "Russian-Mongolian Initiative-2018" was held in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia). The forum was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and JSC "Russian Export Center".

Members of the delegation of the Rosselkhoznadzor headed by A.N. Alekseenko and the FGBI "Federal Center for Animal Health" specialist V.V. Mikhalishin took part in the panel discussion "Main Directions and Strategic Perspectives of Development of Bilateral Cooperation in the Agro-Industrial Complex, Food and Consumer Goods Industry".

Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Goods Industry of Mongolia J. Saule in his speech expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for humanitarian assistance provided for implementation of the first and second stages of the FMD Recovery Animal Health Program. A positive assessment was given to the joint work of the veterinary specialists of the FGBI "ARRIAH" and Mongolia on the development of a plan for step-by-step vaccination of livestock and the implementation of serological surveillance in Mongolia.
