In the period from September 15 to September 17, the 13th International Symposium of Geospatial Health organized by the International Society of Geospatial Health (GnosisGIS) was held in Liverpool, UK.
The Symposium was attended by scientists, post-graduate students and specialists from the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, the Russian Federation, the USA, the Netherlands, Denmark and Belgium. Presentations were made on the modelling of highly dangerous human and animal disease spread using geographic information systems (GISs) and spatial analysis methods.
Fyodor I. Korennoy, a researcher of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health”, took an active part in the work of the Symposium. He made a presentation on mapping of LSD outbreak distribution in Eurasia in 2014-2019. Besides, F. Korennoy moderated sessions and participated in the meeting of the GnosisGIS Executive Committee.
