On September 3-7, 2018 Jožef Stefan Nuclear Research Institute, Ljubljana hosted the IVth closing meeting of the international project D52038 working group “Accessible Technologies for the Verification of Origin of Dairy Products as an Example Control System to Enhance Global Trade and Food Safety” within the framework of cooperation with FAO/IAEA.

The main focus of the meeting was reviewing the results of scientific research in 2013-2018. The FGBI “ARRIAH” final report for a five-year period was presented by Head of Laboratory of Chemical Analysis Ivan Podkolzin.

The last day, September 7, saw an additional meeting for concerned parties which gathered manufacturers of milk and dairy products, consumers unions, retail representatives and delegates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Competent control authorities for food quality and safety of Slovenia. Thus, the results of D52038 project and its potential in solving issues of milk and dairy products traceability were released.
