On July 2, 2019 the Federal Governmental Budgetary Institution “Centre for Strategic Planning and Management of Medical and Biological Health Risks” (FGBI “CSP” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation) hosted an expert council of the coordination and analytical centre for chemical and biological safety which was presided by Doctor of Science (Medicine), Professor, Director of the Department of Human Health and Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-being of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation M.P.Shevyryova.

The FGBI “ARRIAH” subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor was presented by Deputy Head Artem Metlin and Head of the Information Analysis Centre under the Department for Veterinary Surveillance Anton Karaulov.

In the course of the session the participants reviewed inter-ministerial cooperation in the field of infectious and parasitic diseases and drafting of the Concept of improving the infection service. They also listened to the following reports: “Current prevalence of infectious and parasitic diseases in the Russian Federation”, “Prevalence of infectious and parasitic diseases among children”, “Prevalence of parasitic diseases”, “Prevalence of mycoses”, “Brief overview of the epidemiological landscape” and “Experience in managing the activities of a health organization”. At the conclusion of the meeting the participants were asked to work out proposals for the concept of improving the infection service of the Russian Federation.
