Within the framework of its accredited activity, in the period from 20 May to 22 May 2019, the Federal Service for Accreditation (RusAccreditation) carried out an inspection to verify the competence of the Federal State-Financed Institution “Federal Centre for Animal Health” and to expand its scope of accreditation as a provider of interlaboratory comparisons. The competence of the FGBI “ARRIAH” as an interlaboratory comparison provider was confirmed by RusAccreditation Order No. PK-1-1180 of June 21, 2019 and its scope of accreditation was expanded by three parameters. The following programmes were included in the FGBI “ARRIAH” scope of accreditation as an interlaboratory comparison provider:

- detection of antibodies to Schmallenberg disease virus in sera of cattle/small ruminants;

- detection of rabies virus antigen in animal cerebrum using ELISA;

- detection of antibodies to influenza A virus subtype H5 in avian sera.

Information on verification of the FGBI “ARRIAH” competence and expansion of its scope of accreditation as a provider of interlaboratory comparisons was included in the Register of Accredited Persons.
