On January 26, 2016 staff members of the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor visited the 21st International Trade and Industrial Exhibition “MVC : CEREALS – MIXED FEED – VETERINARY - 2016” which was held in Pavilions 75 and 69, Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh), Moscow. More than 280 companies from 23 European countries, Asia, North America and 44 RF regions took part in the exhibition.

17 specialized conferences and seminars with the participation of experts from Russian and foreign companies and of speakers from 15 countries : Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Israel, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, the USA, Finland, France, Switzerland as well as of at least 1100 attendees were conducted within the framework of the business program.

K. Gruzdev, FGBI “ARRIAH” Chief expert on porcine diseases presented his report on “Safe pig farming” within the framework of III International conference “Effective pig industry development” and of the seminar “Hygiene and epidemic security on pig farms”, and was the moderator of the section. I. Chvala, Head of the Reference laboratory for infectious avian diseases of the FGBI “ARRIAH”, took part in III International conference “Development of egg and meat poultry production” and presented his report “Characteristics of methods for viral avian disease diagnosis” at the seminar “Veterinary medicine and hygiene in poultry production”. The presented reports covered results of scientific research devoted to the studies of specific features of infectious animal diseases in the Russian Federation and countries of the near abroad during the last years, as well as of preventive measures, diagnosis and control and were highly appraised by the attendees.
