The meetings between specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Center for Animal Health” (FGBI ARRIAH) and representatives of large livestock farms were held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on March 3. The participants of the meetings discussed the issues of cooperation in the field of FMD preventive vaccination with products manufactured by FGBI ARRIAH to ensure animal welfare on the UAE farms.

During the visit, the specialists of the FGBI ARRIAH organized a training workshop for the representatives of the establishments where they highlighted an integrated approach to the prevention of foot and mouth disease in livestock farms with the use of veterinary drugs from the FGBI ARRIAH.

In the course of the training, the problems related to the use of foreign vaccines were identified. The FGBI ARRIAH specialists proposed their solution taking into account the scientific potential of the Federal Center.

The presentation aroused a keen interest among the participants, in connection with which the organizers of the meeting proposed to hold another training workshop for a wider audience.
