The VI Small Animal Specialist Veterinary Conference (ASASVC-2026) was held in Wuxi, China, from 21–23 October 2026. It was attended by Tatyana Galkina, Head of the FGBI "ARRIAH" laboratory, Candidate of Science (Veterinary Medicine).
The event brought together more than 8,000 experts, veterinary medicinal product (VMP) manufacturers and distributors from Asia and other countries.
Russian vaccines against feline diseases, Carnifel PCH and Carnifel PCHR, developed by the FGBI "ARRIAH", received the forum award. This powerful international recognition is another milestone in Russian veterinary science, highlighting foreign specialists' interest in Russian achievements related to the prevention of animal diseases.
The particular distinguishing feature of both Carnifel vaccines is the use of two heterologous strains of feline calicivirus, which makes it possible to expand the vaccine's protection scope. The vaccines have been developed in line with the FGBI "ARRIAH" approach to the production of modern vaccines against infectious diseases in pets.
Tatyana Galkina noted that participation in the conference is a good opportunity to demonstrate the achievements of Russian researchers to the international professional community, to share experience with foreign colleagues and to enhance cooperation in the veterinary field.
The FGBI "ARRIAH" is committed to supporting further research and creating up-to-date vaccines in order to prevent pet diseases and ensure freedom from them.
