On February 15 – 17, 2016 a new trade fair serving the poultry, aquaculture and dairy industries in the Middle East, Africa, India and Central Asia, VIV MEA 2016, will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC) within the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA).
The target of the fair is to bring together international suppliers and the region’s producers of poultry meat, eggs, fish and milk. Approximately 500 exhibitors and 4, 000 visitors are planned to take part in the fair.
VIV MEA 2016 and GFIA serve to improve international cooperation towards achieving a common vision and approach to leverage innovative and smart solutions for the development of agricultural sector and food production as well as to enhance the contribution to achieving food security and minimizing food shortage in the region.
The event will be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) and supported by some of the world’s leading players in the field of sustainable agriculture such as the United Nations, World Bank, USAID, African Union and etc.
The FGBI “ARRIAH” is planned to participate in the exhibition within the Rosselkhoznadzor joint stand. The FGBI “ARRIAH” specialists will share their achievements and experience, exhibit new products. To receive information and consultations on veterinary preparations and services rendered by the Centre will be possible at Stand B146, Exhibition Hall 7.
