HERRIOT component of the Federal Governmental Information System in the veterinary field (hereinafter – HERRIOT) is to be used for submission of the information on taken preventive, medical and other measures in accordance with the Procedure for data submission and receiving into/from the Federal Governmental Information System in the veterinary field approved by Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation No. 318 of 30 June 2017.

The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) and FGBI “ARRIAH” have developed HERRIOT component intended for submission of data on contagious animal diseases reported in the territories of the RF Subjects and relevant measures taken.

This HERRIOT module has been operating in pilot mode since May 2020.

Demo version of the said programme contains more than 100 contagious animal disease-reporting events.

The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) together with the FGBI “ARRIAH” held a videoconference with representatives of the RF Subject Veterinary Authorities and the Rosselkhoznadzor Territorial Administrations participating in HERRIOT pilot operation on August 25, 2020.

Questions arising during the operation of HERRIOT module as well as proposals on its further improvement were discussed at the video conference.

The Veterinary Department of the Saratov Oblast Government, Veterinary Service of the Moscow Oblast Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Veterinary Department of the Republic of Kalmykia were thanked for their active participation in pilot operation and improvement of the programme.

HERRIOT continues to work in pilot mode. Representatives of the Veterinary Authorities of the RF Subjects can get access to the said programme to be acquainted with it.
