In May, 2020 the staff of the Laboratory for Microbiological Testing of the Testing Centre within the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor took part in the round of proficiency testing provided by FAPAS, international accredited provider (UK), for Coagulase Positive Staphylococci Enumeration in Food by microbiological method.
Eighty laboratories participated in the round. Proficiency testing participants were to establish the quantity of Staphylococcus aureus in milk powder.
According to the report, the laboratory showed satisfactory results, with the following acceptance value: z =1.3.
The staff of the Laboratory for Microbiological Testing once again demonstrated their expertise and validity of the applied methods.
