On January 25, 2016 delegation of leading veterinary experts from the Republic of Korea visited the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “ARRIAH”.
The visit was aimed at the discussion of prospects for collaboration in FMD control in Korea, evaluation of the current global epidemic situation on highly dangerous animal diseases as well as at the discussion of a number of other topical animal health issues.
FGBI “ARRIAH” experts shared their experience in FMD prevention in the Russian Federation, told about the FMD vaccine production and submitted detailed recommendations on the disease control and diagnosis. Methods for the use of preparations for animal immunization were presented.
In summary of the visit the parties summed up the results of the meeting. The Korean delegation expressed their commitment in further cooperation with the FGBI “ARRIAH” in regard to the disease freedom in the countries.
