Meeting between the delegation of the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” (FGBI “ARRIAH”) subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor and representatives of the Agricultural Product Registration Division of the Agriculture Quality Assurance Agency (AGROCALIDAD) of the Republic of Ecuador headed by Hipatia Nogales, its Coordinator, took place on March 20, 2018 within the FGBI “ARRIAH” delegation’s visit to Ecuador. The Division’s officials provided the Russian party with detailed explanations of the procedure for veterinary product registration in the country, quality and characteristics requirements as well as conditions for access of legal entities and individuals dealing with pharmaceuticals to Ecuador market.

Special attention was paid to a set of documents required for registration as well as legal aspects of authorization and tests required for the product quality and stability assurance.

The Ecuador party expressed its interest in export of vaccines from the Russian Federation and welcomed the discussion of potential veterinary product supplies to Ecuador. In addition, Director of the FGBI “ARRIAH” proposed to sign Memorandum on Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the FGBI “ARRIAH” and AGROCALIDAD.
