The Meeting of the Concluding Collegium of the Rosselkhoznadzor under the chairmanship of Sergey Dankvert, Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, took place at the FGBI “All-Russian Plant Quarantine Centre” on March 31, 2017. Results of the activities performed by the Service and its subordinate institutions in 2016 as well as the objectives for 2017 were discussed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachyov, Head of the Economic Control Department of the Presidential Executive Office's Control Directorate Igor Golikov, Deputy Minister for Agriculture Yevgeny Nepoklonov, representatives of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Social Council under the Ministry of Agriculture and the Rosselkhoznadzor. The meeting was also attended by the heads of Territorial Administrations and federal governmental budgetary institutions. The FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor was represented by its Director Dmitry Lozovoy, the First Deputy Director Vyacheslav Gusev and by the Deputy Director for Quality Sergey Starov.

In the course of the meeting the representatives of the federal governmental budgetary institutions provided their detailed progress reports for 2016.

During the meeting the Rosselkhoznadzor representatives tackled issues related to scheduled and non-scheduled inspections during the official control in veterinary field, plant quarantine, official land surveillance as well as main results of its work in the sphere of media relations in 2016.

Public Declaration of the Rosselkhoznadzor Aims and Objectives for 2017 was also discussed at the meeting. In the framework of the Collegium the abovementioned Declaration was approved by the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor. At the end of the meeting a Draft Collegium Decision was discussed.
