A meeting of the Scientific board devoted to the Day of Russian Science was held in the conference hall of the FGBI “ARRIAH” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor on February 5, 2016. Members of the Scientific board, researches as well as honorary experts of the Centre took part in the meeting.

The Scientific board chaired by Dmitry Lozovoy, Director of the FGBI “ARRIAH”, considered plans on the laboratory scientific and research activities, in particular, special attention was paid to the laboratory for bovine and porcine disease prevention (headed by Yevgeny Avsitidiysky). In 2016 the laboratory is going to improve methods for infectious disease control, for the laboratory diagnosis as well as to develop highly efficient biologicals against porcine diseases.

The FGBI “ARRIAH” experts presented a detailed report on scientific business trips to Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Taiwan and reported on the results of their work.

Results of work carried out by the FGBI “ARRIAH” labor union in 2015 were summarized and the objectives for 2016 were considered.

The meeting continued with the awarding ceremony. Vladimir Nagorny, Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Territorial Administration for the Vladimir Oblast, presented 2 Certificates of Appreciation of the Rosselkhoznadzor. Dmitry Lozovoy presented Certificates of Appreciation and letters of acknowledgment to 16 staff members for their dedicated work and on the occasion of the Day of Russian Science. In addition to that, 2 staff members of the FGBI “ARRIAH” received Certificates of Appreciation from the Food and Agricultural Department of the Vladimir Oblast Administration, 3 experts were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the Vladimir city government and 3 staff members received letters of acknowledgement from the Vladimir city government.
