In December 2015, microbiology experts from the Testing Centre of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” participated in 3 rounds of interlaboratory comparisons (ILC) organized by the FGBI “CSMVL”. The following criteria were tested:

– determination of the sample compliance (dry milk and beef ash) with radiation safety criteria;

– bacteriological tests of feed (detection of E.coli, Proteus mirabilis);

- identification of microorganisms (4 agar cultures: St.aureus, Proteus mirabilis, E.coli, L.monocytogenes).

According to the FGBI “CSMVL” report on ILC results, the competency of the Microbiology Laboratory of the TC was successfully confirmed in the area of tests performed and the laboratory received the “ILC Participation Certificate”. The obtained results support high proficiency of the laboratory personnel.
