On October 10, 2019, in the framework of the agricultural exhibition Golden Autumn-2019, a ceremony was held to award the winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian contest of rural awareness-raising projects “My Land - Russia”. The competition was organized by the RF Ministry of Agriculture.

Journalistic TV, radio, print media and Internet projects aimed at creating a positive image of the village, disseminating best practices in the development of rural areas, increasing the importance of the farmers’ labor, preserving folk traditions and ways of life, as well as highlighting the problematic issues of small settlements were submitted for the contest.

In the nomination “Russian means excellent! (Production of export-oriented ecological and organic products in Russia; positioning of food sub-brands)” the federal trade newspaper “Veterinariya i zhizn” took an honorable third place with the project “Russian means excellent and safe!”. The award was received by Dmitry Lozovoy, editor-in-chief, director of the subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor FGBI “Federal Center for Animal Health”.

Journalists of the "ViZh" newspaper told its readers about the safety of products and equipping veterinary services; since the quality of the products depends on the animal health, topical materials were published on the death of bees. In total, two dozen articles were published within the framework of the project.
