Nicolay Vlasov, Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Professor, made a short working visit to the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” branch in the Republic of Crimea. During the visit Nicolay Vlasov familiarized himself with the work of the Laboratory for Food Safety, inspected the third and fourth floors of the laboratory administrative building, where installation of clean rooms (medical climate modules) is nearly completed, discussed the work of the branch and its further perspectives.

Press conference of Nicolay Vlasov with the participation of Igor Okorokov, Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Territorial Administration for the Republic of Crimea, and Yury Yepanov, his Deputy Head, was held at the end of the visit. Introduction and eradication of ASF outbreaks in the Crimea was the main topic of the conference.
