From 02 to 05 of June 2014 employees of FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” (FGBI “ARRIAH”) which is subordinated to Rosselkhoznadzor participated in the seminar of production and scientific system “Sverdlovskaya” with the School of Advanced Studies of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan. The seminar was in Astana, Kazakhstan. FGBI “ARRIAH” was presented by Ph.D. in veterinary science Mikhail Volkov and Ph.D. in veterinary science Andrey Varkentin.President of the Union of Poultry Breeders of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Sharipov; the Head of technical support of ISA-Hendrix-Genetics in Russia and the CIS countries Pavel Kolnik; managers and leading specialists of production and scientific system “Sverdlovskaya”; and scientists were speaking to the audience.During the seminar considerable attention was paid to problems of breeding birds from State register of breeding achievements; production of certified breeding products; and veterinary support of content of highly productive crosses.Employees of FGBI “ARRIAH” presented reports on topics “Bacterial infections” and “Low pathogenic avian influenza”. They highlighted problematic veterinary issues in breeding and trade poultry breeding.
