In the period from April 11 till April 14, 2018 the 28th International Multibranch Exhibition VIETNAMEXPO 2018 is held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the trade missions of the Southeast Asian countries. More than 300 exponents and over 10,000 trade representatives and delegates take part in the exhibition. Within the framework of the exhibition the products produced by the leading manufacturing companies operating on the Vietnamese market are presented at the Russian booth for their promotion in the region.

The delegation of the Russian Federation including the representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” participates in VIETNAMEXPO for the first time ever. Adviser to the Head A.N. Alexeyenko attends the event on behalf of the Rosselkhoznadzor. The FGBI “ARRIAH” is represented by Alexander Savvin and Alla Stakhanova engaged in the scientific and commercial activities of the Centre.

Exhibition activities include forums and plenary sessions on discussion of key issues concerning the strategic development of the Russian-Vietnamese partnership in the trade and economic field. The employees of the Centre take an active part in them. The participants of the event took particular interest in the training workshop “Special aspects of assessment of the Russian export products for their compliance on the Vietnamese market” organized by Russian Export Centre JSC and held on April 12. Within the framework of the workshop the Advisor to the Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance presented a report on the role of the Rosselkhoznadzor in ensuring the safety of food imports and exports.

In the course of numerous forums the crucial issues of management in the field of agriculture, food product safety assurance, marketing and financing of agricultural establishments, as well as support measures for Russian exporters with regard to the international adaptation of export products are discussed.
