On March 2, 2018 the 77th session of the CIS Economic Council took place in Moscow. The agenda of the session included a number of issues, and specifically the consideration of a draft Package of joint measures to be taken by the CIS member-states for rabies prevention and control for the period until 2025, the primary drafter of which is the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health”. FGBI “ARRIAH” Deputy Director for Research and Development Artem Metlin participated in the session activities on behalf of the institution.

The Package of joint measures to be taken by the CIS member-states for rabies prevention and control for the period until 2025 was approved by the participants of the session and proposed for approval by the Council of the CIS Heads of Governments which is to be held in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) in June, 2018.
