The interdepartmental meeting on Draft Addendum of the Meeting of the CIS Council Heads of States planned to take place in Dushanbe, the Republic of Tadjikistan, on June 1, 2018 was held on May 15, 2018.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Federal Customs Service, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation, Russian Federal Agency for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks, Ministry of Agriculture, Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology and Ministry of Economic Development took part in the meeting. The Federal Centre for Animal Health was represented by Artem Metlin, Deputy Head for Science and Research. The meeting was chaired by Konstantin Kuzmichev, the Deputy Head of the Department for Economic Cooperation with the CIS countries and Eurasian Integration Development. At the beginning of the meeting the RF plenipotentiary in the Commission for Economic Issues at the CIS Economic Council, made a report on the planned events with participation of experts in the consensus meeting which was held prior to the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of States. Artem Metlin and Alexey Machnev, MoA representative made amendments to the introduction of communique, point 7 of the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of States “On joint measures of the CIS countries aimed at BSE prevention and control up to 2025”.
