Specialists of the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor A. Konstantinov and R. Yashin took part in the Seminar “Preclinical Tests. Modern Trends and Problems.GLP in Animal Facilities” on March 30, 2016. The seminar was organized by NPO “Association of Laboratory Animal Handlers” (Rus-LASA) and LLC “Farmbioline”, the biggest laboratory animal supplier in Russia.

In the course of the seminar Russian and European GLP requirements for equipment management during preclinical tests were highlighted, draft law regulating use of animals for scientific purposes in the RF was discussed, data repeatability and reproducibility in the light of experimental technique evolution was addressed. The information about laboratory animal keeping standards was received, as well as about use of IVC (individual ventilated cage) system for sterile animals and gnotobionts and typical mistakes of such equipment maintenance.
