In June 2014, members of the Reference laboratory for cattle diseases of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” recieved positive results in interlaboratory comparisons (IC) organized by GD Animal Health. Participation in the IC made it possible to test performance of test kits and validate analytical methods.

Testing procedure included two stages:

1. detection of paratuberculosis antibodies in milk and/or blood sera;

2. detection of BVD virual RNA in blood sera and suspended tissues using nuclear acid amplification.

Successful IC results were confirmed by Certificate of Participation in Laboratory Comparisons, 2014. Data on IC results are reported on GD Animal Health web site (http://www.gdanimalhealth.com).
