From March 25 to April 7, 2016 the Chemical Testing Laboratory within the FGBI “ARRIAH” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor received 380 samples of plant and animal products for testing.

Within this period of time 1036 tests for the detection and quantification of amphenicols, aminoglycosides, nitroimidazoles, tetracyclines, penicillins, sulfanilamides, quinolones, coccidiostats, sedating and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, pesticides, mycotoxins, toxic elements; for the determination of fatty acid composition of dairy products; for quality parameters, as well as organoleptic tests and biochemical blood assays were performed.

Test results demonstrated 440 noncompliances with the RF regulatory documents. Thus, albumin (11 serum samples), glucose (35 samples), calcium (25 samples), phosphorus (30 samples) content did not comply with the standard. The following parameters were exceeded: total protein content -19 serum samples, uric acid – 1 sample, alkaline phosphatase – 23 samples, vitamin A and carotenoid content – 20 samples. Also, there were 26 samples with carotene contents below the standard. Laevomycetin was detected in 2 pork preparation samples and metronidazole in 1 sample of meat preparations in dough. One pasteurized milk sample demonstrated excessive amount of tetracyclines. One haylage sample showed excessive zearalenone. Two feed additive samples demonstrated low lysine content. Detected noncompliance of fatty acid composition of dairy products by 244 parameters is indicative of dairy product adulteration.
