On October 27, in Moscow, Konstantin Savenkov, Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, held negotiations with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, Livestock, and Fisheries of Burkina Faso.

The event was also attended by Khasan Likhov, Director of the FGBI "ARRIAH", Nikita Lebedev, Chief Epizootiologist of the FGBI “ARRIAH”, and Alexey Saprykin, Head of the Vaccine Sales Department.

The parties discussed expanding cooperation between the countries in the field of veterinary surveillance, as well as the supply of Russian animal vaccines to Burkina Faso.

Konstantin Savenkov offered the foreign colleagues scientific and methodological support in ensuring disease freedom, and also noted the possibility of arranging training for specialists from Burkina Faso at Rosselkhoznadzor-subordinate institutions.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain a constructive dialogue and outlined plans for effective interaction between the competent authorities of Russia and Burkina Faso.

As part of the itinerary, the foreign delegation will visit the FGBI "ARRIAH," one of the Rosselkhoznadzor-subordinate institutions, in Vladimir and familiarize themselves with the Centre's work.

On October 28, representatives of Burkina Faso will take part in the Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum.
