Specialists of the Reference Laboratory for Highly Dangerous Animal Diseases of the FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor carried out series of tests from April 11 to April 17, 2016 .
2403 samples of pig blood sera were tested for the presence of antibodies to different viruses and bacteria by ELISA method. The results demonstrated that 333 samples out of 448 (74%) contained PRRS antibodies, 14 out of 44 (32%) – PCV2 antibodies and 150 out of 587 samples (26%) – antibodies against swine influenza virus. Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae antibodies were detected in 77 cases out of 664 (12%).
660 blood sera were tested for the presence of the post vaccination CSFV antibodies. 499 of them (76%) demonstrated the presence of antibodies.
