During the period from June 23 to July 1, 2015, Testing Centre of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal health” received for testing 325 samples of food and raw materials of animal and plant origin.
2264 tests were performed in the laboratory. The tests were aimed at detection and identification of GMI, mycotoxins, nitrofurans, sulfanilamides, quinolones, antibiotics in food and feed. Microbiological tests were also performed.
During the above mentioned period 35 non-compliances with regulatory requirements were identified. Thus 1 case of exceeded QMAFAnM, 6 cases of coliforms, 4 cases of Listeria monocytogenes and 1 case of Salmonella sp were identified during testing of meat, meat products and meat containing products. In addition, coliforms were detected in 6 milk samples. During testing of raw milk 1 case of exceeded QMAFAnM was detected and tetracyclines and inhibitors were identified in 8 samples.
