891 livestock blood serum samples were tested by the Reference Laboratory for FMD diagnosis within the FGBI “ARRIAH” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor in the first half of January 2016. Samples were taken from FMD vaccinated cattle in the Kurgan Oblast on 20-23 day after the vaccination.

Test results demonstrated 94.3-97.3% of immunized animals out of the cattle examined in this region which is indicative of high efficiency of the vaccination program (OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code, 2015, Article 8.8.40).
