The stuff members of the Laboratory for Food Safety of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” branch in the Republic of Crimea, Ye. Kuzina, Head of the Laboratory, and A. Gurtovaya, Junior Researcher of the Sector for Microbiological Analysis (responsible for quality management system) participated in the advisory seminar “Accredited Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager. GOST ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 19011” held in Samara on February 1-11, 2016. The Federal Governmental Autonomous Educational Institution of Extended Professional Education “Academy of Standardization, Metrology and Certification (educational)” and Non-governmental Educational Institution of Extended Professional Education “Assistance” were the organizers of the seminar.

The issues of the accreditation procedure under the national system of accreditation in accordance with the Federal Law FZ-412, laboratory preparation to the procedure of “Competency assessment”, provision of information on laboratory activities in FSA RusAccreditation, reliable results of measurements, compliance with accreditation criteria for testing laboratories in the Russian Federation (Order of MEDT № 326) were considered at the seminar. As a result of the interview the certificates of short-term professional training (108 hours) were granted.
